Sincerely Yes
God has always been there & i know that.
Yesterday nite my dh (dear husband) told me that our Household Group will be involved in the service team during our prayer assembly (which involved over a hundred of brethren) in 2 nites time (We are currently involved in this Christian Family Ministry). In a service team our task is to take care of the food & drinks for fellowships. To mind (most challenging one) the younger children while the parents attend the prayer meet. Cleaning & clearing up after the event.
I went like what!!?? Why the last minute!! I mean, dun get me wrong. I’m all for it especially in serving the Lord tru the community. But I always believe that if we say yes to the Lord, not only we should do it sincerely with an open heart but also at our very best. I was so worried. What if the other appointed service team did not turn up, then we’ll have problem in coping. At the same time what if our bros & sis in our HH are not available to serve that nite, that will be double trouble! There’s so much negativity & anxiety inside me.
Todays Gospel reminded me about discipleship. If we wish to follow Him, how far are we willing to go. How much faith do we have when we are asked to do a certain job/duty. The Lord will always be there to guide us in all our needs. When we give our all to God, He will take care of the rest. So, dear Lord, I’m lifting it up to you tomorrow & let Your will be done. I’m sorry if i ever doubted you …

Yes, God is here always for us and with us. Reminding myself everyday to give thanks and praise! You look at life differently when you wake up and praise and thank HIM instead of grouching. A happier person too!
