Lost my patience today….
For the 1st time in a long long while I shouted at my kids today. The whole day they’ve been driving me up the wall. Brought them out to the mcdonalds for tea break. They’ve were totally out of control tru out. Let me put it this way. They’ve been behaving like any other preschoolers. Duh! Who doesn’t! we were kids b4 aren’t we? But it was bcoz I was having this throat infection & heavy head for the past 2 days. My whole body was aching all over due to my excessive coughing. Feels like I’ve been run over by a huge truck! & darn!, came the rain – a HEAVY one! So u can imagine how agitated I was.
When I managed to hopped them into the car (it’s my neighbour’s, God Bless her!) , they started to whine. Mommy.. I dun want to go home.., mommy, I want to sit here…, mommy I want to sit there, mommy… can I have some sweet……aaaaand… so…my fuse…. just SNAP!! I screamed my head off !! ( like my throat wasn’t bad enuf!) yelling ,shouting & nagging at them, tru out the 10 mins journey back home. Can u imagine doing tht in the car. Your voice just contained within and no escape. My son, randy, kept blinking his eyes without a word. It was quite hilarious actually come to think of it. I swear this is 1 episode I will never repeat. It was really nasty…& I dun want the kids to think tht its ok to shout at others. Shame on me. Tonite I’m going to apologise to them & tell them how much I love them.
Well, its penitential day this fri. better prepare for my sacrament of reconciliation.
