Happy Birthday Xan!
Today’s my girl’s birthday. She get to celebrate it in school with her classmate.
Seems like it was only yesterday when i had her in my arm for the 1st time….. 4 years ago……
I remembered so clearly when i realised i was pregnant with her. I wasn’t really too thrilled. My 1st one was only 6th mths then. & I thot i would just stopped at that. You see, my dh & I had been trying for a baby for like 3 years since we got married. Eventually we seeked help. My boy was conceived tru IUI (Intra-Uterine-Insemination) where the doc insert dh’s sperms straight into my womb (after determining that i’m ovulating) using cathereter(spelling?) tru the vagina. I was told this procedure has only abt 20% chance success rate . But with God’s grace, i got hooked.
So, i thot that i will have to go tru the same procedure if i wish to conceive again. Who would have thot!! So i went like “No !!”. I’m not going to have another one. I’ve just gotten over that sleepless nites due to nite feedings. I havent gotten back into shape yet. Now i’m going to have this bump again!
When she was born, i’ve got serious post natal blue. She gave me a hard time during her 1st mth. She didnt know how to latch on. She’s awake from like midnite to 4-5 am. She cried alot. I stopped breastfed her thereafter cos i was just too tired.
Now, as I looked back & looking at her now, how she’s grown, I regreted I had a 2nd thot about having her. She’s the most adorable, vain little princess & the most independent between my two.

She used to be called cabbage patch baby…..
….now, she’s my 4 year old little princess…
