Whose fault is it?
Lately i’ve been reading alot in the paper forum, how selfish the younger generations/youths have become & their uncouth behaviours grate on the ‘old timers’. They formed the biggest litterbugs here. When interviewed why the littering, they’ll say “its so hard to find trash bin around” or “there are public cleaners to clear them what….”
What about giving up seats 4 the elders in the bus or train? U know, i was so saddened about this article on 2 executive working girls dashed in when the train stopped & rushed for the available 2 seats. At the same time there were 2 quite elderly women ushered by other standing passengers to take the seats, when one of the girls said, “i dun give a shit!! so wht u wanna do abt it?” & they just sat down !!!?? what the….this is really so sad. Whatever happened to our asian values today …
But u know what? i cannot blame totally on these youngsters for their unacceptable behaviour. Blame it on the environment they grew up in. How were they brought up. Have they been led a good example in the 1st place? If we, the parents are not even living up in practicing good values, to be civic minded, u think we can expect our children to do the same? Yeap! U got it right ! They are just doing what they only knew. *sigh* sad right…
