If some of you like to read blogs, i’d like to recommend you this site. I found it when i was looking for a recipe sometimes last year & since then i got hooked. Its a must for me to check on her site whenever i’m on my pc 
.
She’s funny, has a great sense of humour, very direct, blunt at times but very very sincere. Shes a catholic (thts y i think i can relate to her), she has gone tru very painful moments in her life, one of which is losing one of her sons.
She is very capable. If you notice she has so many website to her name ie. parenting site/forum, women’s blog, food blog, even photo blog! God knows where she got the strength from, managing so many sites.
To tell you the truth, i give credit to her for the birth of suziesite. I was so inspired that i just want to be like her. Even the falling pink blossoms i copied from her :d. Been wanting to link my blog with hers since i had my website. But by doing so i think she can trackback the link to me & it would be soooo embarassing to let her see my mediocre, ikan bilis (small fish) site. I wanted so much to send an email to her telling her how much i’ve enjoyed her blogs that i want her to be my mentor & my sifu for my new blogsite. But no guts la. very malu. heh…
And another thing, you know she gets paid so much every mth (4 figures & in US$ !) just by blogging that i just have to learn the trade from her. But dun know how long more will i take to get to her level. Oh well, my site is only like 2 mths old & its going to take, what, like 2 years b4 i could reach her status as a problogger, so i’ll just take 1step @ a time. Meanwhile, i’ll just keep on blogging la - anything that comes to mind….(*)

Suzie,
r u sure she get paid in 4 figures US$ per month? Truth is, very few bloggers ever get there. To hit that kind of an income, one got to be very glued to the computer, feeding it with all kinds of content (some of which can be provocative), and other things that you can imagine. There are indeed individuals who gets lots of hits, but they were already famous before blogging. So, my humble advice is to take it as a recreational tool, and not a money spinner. Earning some side income is more like a consequence, not an objective.
If you are truly keen to run up that kind of monies, I suggest you don’t do it on your own, as the commitment on time and content can damage your family. Have like minded people as a group to post regularly interesting and even debatable articles up.

its not easy u know. u need to put in alot of effort to reach that kind of figure. u need to be consistent, u shld b able to write well & ur mind shld always be working & hv alot of thngs to write abt. i know i’m far from it. I may not make thousands of $. to me, even with just 1,2 hundreds bucks each mth, i’ll b thankful. at least i cld use it for my own personal needs w/o having my andrew to fork out further…hor darling hor….

Yes, it’s true we CAN make 4-figure USD income just by blogging. But, in reality, it’s MORE than money. I’ve known 5xmom since that day i started blogging and she’s VERY passionate about it. The best part about her is her enthusiasm and WILLINGNESS to share IF you ask. Many keep their money-making secrets to themselves and only use those figures to flatter and show-off to their readers. 5xmom is more than that.
Treat your blog whatever way you want it to. It’s yours. One valuable tip i’ve learnt is to keep going. Even when times are down, just know that there are ppl reading your blog even if you do not know who they are or no one leaves comments. It’s ok. Monetizing one’s blog is a good way to generate extra income. But you have to be ready for what lies ahead. Just dont get too consume by it. Or you’ll soon lose interest.
