Guava

Have you seen this b4? Its actually guava ! Never have i seen guava that look like this in my entire life
Its like a cross between custard apple & the normal guava known as jambu batu. The difference is, its seedless & they are not hard like the usual ones.
Guava is well known for a number of healing properties one of which was it helps to lower down the blood sugar level. Since we were introduced this guava by Jennifer, (thks sis!), we’ve been having this as our regular snack
Now this one are not cheap mind you! It cost between $3 to $5 per kg! & you can find them only from your regular fruits stall. But, lately i can also find them in the selected supermart all pre-packed between 3 -5 biji & guess what, for only $1.80-$1.90! Of course they are not as big & flawless la. The pix abv is the cheaper ones thats why you can see alot of brown spots on them. But who cares, you can always peel the skin off

This is how its looks like when you cut open. Then i’ll sliced them & add some preserved lemon rind.

Mixed them altogether & keep them stored in the fridge at least for a few hrs. Normally i like to keep them overnite. Then the sliced guava will become much softer as the lemon rind worked on them longer. Eat them cold. Wah ! Shiok man…very refreshing i tell you!
