Brinjal simmered in dark soya sauce

This dish is the simplest,yet shiok. You can eat them with plain porridge & hey bee hiam(sambal dried prawn - will share that 1 day)..hmm…plain heaven.

From my experience, the long purple ones are better.

Fry some garlics. When start to brown add in lots of groundpepper….

Add in the brinjal with 1 bowl of water. Pour about 3 tablespoon of dark sauce…

Cover & leave to simmer…..till the brinjal all soft & tender. Thats it! Simple right!

    err normally i deep fry them first then stir fry them agan in black soya sauce, sometimes i add in minced pork …

    hey earl-ku! thanks for dropping by. Yeap! we can always do that. meat is good too! Just that brinjal has the tendency to absorb whole load of oil wink heh..
