What is our purpose in Life
i came across this interesting post where the author gave his insights on the topic. it just don on me that how many of us actually really knew what’s our purpose in life. have we really thot about it. His formula is very simple. ask yourself that question.
Hopefully asking the question led to other questions or led you to formulate the beginnings of an answer. Keep thinking about the question and you will come up with more questions and more parts of the answer.
how true can that be! when we find the answer, it will lead us to another question - how are we to attain that, how do we fullfill that. then there’ll be choice to make, what road to take, what will be the obstacles, how are we going to tackle them & so on & so on…
for me, its all about having the right intentions. to have a supernatural purpose in whatever i think, do or say. whatever i seek to find the answer, it should be God fearing eg. to avoid hell or purgatory, to gain heaven. these are supernatural motives, hence, it is the right intentions. as long as i do not commit mortal sin & everything i do does not compromise my catholic faith, i think i have the right intention.
ultimately we cannot seek to find the answer if we do not ask God. Only He knows what’s our purpose in life. its all written in the palm of His hands. All we have to do is to seek His Will faithfully & He will answer you. & yes, like what steven said, “it’s your choice wether to listen or not”.

Hi Suz, nice and meaningful post! Have you read the book, The Purpose Driven Life? http://www.purposedrivenlife.com/thebook.aspx. Check it out because it made a difference to me. I saw your flickr photos and Xan looks so cute – especially when she was a baby. Looks like a doll. And how did your Port Dickson photos looks so good. I’m Malaysian and don’t think much of PD but your photos made me rethink the place.
