Chillie Fish Flakes

suddenly i craved for something spicy yesterday. but i’m not really into eating rice. since i got this batang (mackerel?) fish that has been sitting in my freezer for nearly 2 weeks,  i thot maybe i could make something that i can eat with bread. so this recipe came to mind. you may wish to experiment with different kind of fish if you like.

  1. marinade the fish with some salt & pepper.
  2. fry it. not to overcook it.  coz we want the meat to be moist & flaky. i slit this fish cos its a bit too thick just in case it may not be cooked inside.
  3. take out the flesh & remove the bones.

  1. pound or blend the ingredients. this pic i took for another recipe i used, so please halved the dry chillie & use only 1 big onion (just ignore the x2). omit the chillie padi if u think its too spicy for you wink
  2. fry the blended chillie with some oil. stir till its dry & fragrant. add salt to taste.
  3. then add in the fish flake. stir them till the fish & the chillie are evenly mixed. you may wish to add abit more salt.
  4. that’s it!

its really simple . no hassle. i ate them as sandwich.  of coz u can eat it with plain rice. especially if its still steaming hot…YUM! i will mix in the rice and the fish altogether & it’ll looked as if you are eating chillie fried rice lol try it. swear you’ll love it!

from suz kitchen….signing off!
