The Harvest is plentiful but…
about a month ago we’ve just started (& is still going on) our christian life program at the church of holy trinity. now, church of holy spirit will be starting in 2 sundays & so the past 2 weekends been bz passing flyers to the parishioners & tending to their queries. yesterday we had an opportunity to blast it during all of the 3 masses. the support from the parish priest has been very encouraging. we even got the wardens assistance to hand out our flyers just before the mass ended.
father william did a very powerful sermon yesterday. he spoke very strongly about building a deeper relationship with God & carrying on/out His works. it really coincides with the evangelising exercise which we are doing. he was saddened by the fact that 95% - 98% of church parishioners, all not wanting to serve. fullfilling their sunday obligations should be enough, so they think. sadly, despite all that reminder, most of the parishioners are still turning deaf ears. they all hurrily exited out, brushing us away when we try to approach them to attend the program. its so sad that they are not giving themselves a chance to keep an open mind to get to know & to understand how spiritually beneficial this program could do for them & their family.
whatever the case, even if the labours are few, His work must still go on. He will continue to knock on their doors till they opened it….
