Affirmation
it was just in one of my yesterday’s post i shared this verse about the danger of serving 2 masters & todays gospel spoke of the same verse! if you noticed, i quoted Luke 16:13 instead of Mat 6:24. this is definitely not a coincidence. it is an affirmation! thank you Lord for this message!
it is true that money will not fall from the sky. we have to work for it. we have to toil before we can bear fruits. but we need to know, deep in our hearts, we have to be careful of what our real intentions are. with our pure & righteous heart, God will take care of us as the gospel says,’ seek first the kingdom (of God) and His righteousness, and all these other things will be provided for you’(Mat 6:33).
“KEEP YOUR LIVES FREE FROM THE LOVE OF MONEY & BE SATISFIED WITH WHAT YOU HAVE FOR GOD HAS SAID ‘I WILL NEVER FORSAKE OR ABANDON YOU’ “ (HEB 13:5)

woah! we listened to an online sermon today and it was based on a similar verse lah!! we haven’t found a church where we are now (Ningbo, China) so we rely on sermons from our home church and also from All Souls Church in UK. They’ve got some good sermons. We listened to Money and The Kingdom by Roger Salisbury. It’s on Luke 16.Check out the sermon at http://www.allsouls.org/ascm/allsouls/static/sermons/current.html
