Road to Heaven
the devil never sleeps. we have to constantly keep on guard for a battle. as long as we are still breathing, no man will be entirely safe from temptations here on earth. many enemies out there will oppose to everything & anything good we try to do.
for myself & andrew, many a time we will get silly remarks whenever we are involved doing God’s work. they will say things like , we’ve got nothing better to do. we are too free. or we are wasting our time coz we don’t get anything out of it . its even more sad to hear that we were power driven when we serve just so that 1 day we get to be at the top among the elders in the community ! today’s gospel, these are among the many people who would rather enter the wide gate & broader road where it leads to destruction. its ok if they want to take the easy way out by not getting involve serving in the community but to discourage & condemning others is just plain evil.
time like this we really need to strive & seek Him for strength to overcome any evil thots that may ruined us & to resist whatever that will keep us away from serving Him. we need to focus & keep our eyes on Him so we could stand up under the strain of this daily warfare. we should continue to walk in His path. well, the road may be narrow & constricted, but it is the one & only way to the Father’s house.
