Call for Action

in today’s gospel, Jesus said that a true follower is one who believes His words & follows His teachings in his daily life. i just cringe when i read that he’ll never acknowledge us even tho we may have prophesy in His name or do mighty deeds in His name.  our Lord’s standard is not just words but of actions. tho He knows our good desires but only through action will satisfy the heart of Jesus. never forget His words, if you love me, you will keep my commandments. “not the one who says ‘Lord, Lord’, will enter the Kingdom of Heaven but rather he who does the Will of our Father, will enter the Kingdom of Heaven”(Mt 7:21)

    i also cringe….we always fall short if we rely on our own strength but if we lean on Him totally we know He will guide our ways.

    so true my dear sister tracy…with the help of God’s grace, we will live in constant union with Him…
