Car on the way?
andrew said when our maid leaves, and since i dont intend to get a new one, he’ll prolly throw in the money he used to pay for the maid’s salary and levy to pay monthly installment for a second car. woo-hoo!! the past 2 weeks we’ve been going around checking out on cars. from direct distributors to the parrallel importers. andrew is eyeing on toyota rush. but he kinda feeling the pinch. its over 65,000$! he asked me if i like daihatsu-materia - or better known as tall boy. i find it very ‘boxy’. & it looked like a london cab to me 
if i have the choice just give me hyundai matrix, i’ll be most happy. it’s spacious & very light to drive & its a little cheaper too! over 40,000$. anyhow, whatever car he planned to get, it has to be within his means. i’ll just take it even if it had to be that box or even if its a malaysia made little kelisa or kanchil. beggers cant be choosy.

you are lucky that Singapore has such a good transport system. In Malaysia, it is very tough to survive without a car! The kelisa is not too bad looking - like a mini cooper but don’t bother with kancil - I drove it around when I started work. Mine was only a 650cc and we used to joke that we should cut holes for our feet so that we can help it go faster - like the Flintstones

That’s so sweet of your hubby to think of buying a car for you
It will be easier for you to ferry your kids around.

i know…
next year randy will be in P1 & xan will be in K1 so he thot will be easier for me if i have to ferry both them around from 2 different school.
