Can you swallow this?

quite sometime ago bokjae did a post about how creepy crawlies can end up in your makan (food) & if you are not careful, you might be chewing something you are not suppose to chew… coincidently i’ve received this email about a cockroach found in nasi lemak sambal. i’ve minimise the size of the photos in case you’ll puke after seeing it. just click on the pic for larger image   . anyway this is what he wrote:-

Beware of what you eat at Syed Abu, Damansara Jaya

Dear colleagues and friends,

Take note of what you order  from our local Indian Muslim restaurants,  especially the one near  the post office in Damansara  Jaya. A colleague  and I were  shocked to find a cockroach in our nasi  lemak yesterday  morning.  To be precise it was in the sambal or chilli paste. The worst part of it all was that the shop owner, even after clearing our plates continued to sell the dish to other patrons. can you imagine if children were to eat it? the restaurant is Syed Abu along Jln SS22/19, damansara jaya.

Please forward this email to anyone who might patronise this restaurant. concerned citizen.

dont ask me how true this story is but he did left his phone numbers behind…

i myself have experienced a fair share of wha the writer encountered. not once but TWICE!. once, was a cockroach in my mee siam. i was too late. i’ve eaten everything in the plate except the egg, thinking i’ll save the best for last. that’s when i saw it in the gravy. dang!! another gross incident, (i think this is even worse) was when i noticed a used (YES, USED!!)  plaster in my ice kachang! EEEEEWWWWWW!!!!!
